This Privacy Policy describes how MyTelePep (d/b/a of TeleEMC / First Visit MD, operated under Luxe Inventions LLC), located at 4800 N. Federal Hwy., Suite 105B, Boca Raton, FL 33431, collects, uses, and protects information about you when you use our website and telehealth services.

As a covered entity under HIPAA, MyTelePep is required to protect your Protected Health Information (PHI). Your rights regarding PHI are described in detail in our Notice of Privacy Practices. All PHI is stored in a HIPAA-compliant EHR system. All video sessions are conducted on a HIPAA-compliant platform subject to a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA).

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including end-to-end encryption for all video consultations, TLS 1.2+ encryption for data in transit, encrypted storage for all PHI at rest, multi-factor authentication for provider and staff access, and annual HIPAA Security Risk Assessments. In the event of a breach involving your PHI, we will notify you as required by HIPAA's Breach Notification Rule and Florida Statute §501.171.

You have the right to access and receive copies of your health information, request corrections to inaccurate records, request restrictions on certain uses and disclosures, receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI, and file a complaint if you believe your privacy rights have been violated. Our website uses essential cookies for site functionality and may use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our site. We do not use advertising or behavioral tracking cookies on pages where you access your patient account or health information. You may disable cookies in your browser settings.
